Urban Cap and Gown Session- Reiley Donovan

Cap and Gown season is in full swing and unbelievably graduation is just a few short weeks away for most of my Seniors. This is my favorite time of year- the time when I get to see all my kids again and celebrate all that they have accomplished in the past year. There is such a different feeling to these sessions compared to their fall Senior Photos. They are so much more relaxed knowing where they are going and what’s ahead of them post graduation. They have also all been in front of my camera before, so I am a familiar friend at this point and usually we just spend most of the time chatting and catching up. It’s so fun to share in their hard work, get excited for what’s ahead and celebrate with them. Yes, my favorite time of year for sure and I love every minute.

First up this season was my girl, Reiley Donovan. Reiley is a 2019 Kentlake graduate who is heading off to SDSU in the fall. I have been working with Reiley and her family for over a year and it has been such a pleasure working with her. She is so thoughtful, articulate, and talented. SDSU is lucky to have her next year. So what’s ahead for Reiley? She wants to study microbiology and work in a lab. I am sure she is going to do great things and make quite an impact on the world- I know she has on mine. Thank you, Reiley, for all the fun, conversations and memories this past year. Enjoy every last minute up to graduation and I am so excited to see your journey as you head off to SDSU in the fall.
