Family Photos Tacoma

Fall is a popular time of year for family photos in Tacoma, WA. The trees come to life in a patchwork of colors and families come together for their annual sessions. I have been blessed to know Kate and Matt now for 5 years. I photographed their wedding day and now look at this beautiful family of 4! It’s always amazing to see my regular clients each year and the Brickell family is one of my favorites.

We decided to take their photos on the UPS campus in Tacoma, WA. The UPS campus is a beautiful location for family photos. It has lots of beautiful architecture, landscaping, and covered areas for rainy days. It changes a lot with the seasons and has beautiful maple and oak trees with great color for fall portraits. We were lucky enough to have a gorgeous November day this year for their session, a rare gem indeed to be dry and sunny during this time of year.

One of the things I love about Matt and Kate is how hard they work for every smile in these photographs. No matter if it’s raining or sunny, they always rally and make it fun for Clark and Coda. They play games, make silly faces, and sing lots of songs during these sessions. It was a delight to spend the afternoon with them.
