When you live in a place as gorgeous as the Pacific Northwest, it isn’t hard to look around at all the beauty and magic and become instantly inspired. This time of year, the mountains are capped with gorgeous, white snow and the fir trees dot the landscape with a contrasting, luscious green. It’s simply beautiful and so the idea to drive up into the mountains to do a winter inspired wedding photo shoot was born.
Stylized shoots are pretty popular these days. In world full of Pintrest and Social Media sites, there are multiple ideas all at your fingertips for anyone creative enough to pull one together. But this isn’t a story of winter wonderlands and gorgeous brides. This story is about community. I am so proud to be a part of my community where local photographers, wedding vendors, and couples all came together to make a day like this possible. Everyone was so eager to help and offer up their time and talent to contribute to our theme. So many amazing vendors donated their gorgeous products from dresses to flowers, cakes and jewelry. Our two gorgeous couples stood out in the freezing snow- on Seahawks Sunday, no doubt- in dresses and tuxedos and never complained, letting all of the photographers “ohh and ahh” over the images they were getting. This is what it’s all about. Bringing like minded people together to work as a team to create something amazing. What a perfect accomplishment that is. I am very proud to be a part of this community and proud of the talent that came together to make it all work. We had a gorgeous, sunny day, two beautiful couples and at the end of it all, we cut our delicious cake and had a ball. Enjoy this gorgeous shoot everyone and check out these amazing vendors listed below- they are worth getting to know!
