Sweet 16 Birthday- Katelyn

Sweet 16 birthdays are one of my favorites to capture. It marks a period of young adulthood where new responsibilities start to open up like getting a driver’s license or starting a new job. Young girls are coming into their own at this age and gaining confidence and self-worth and it’s a great time for photos.

I have been watching Katelyn through her dance for 4 years and was so excited for the opportunity to work with her. She is graceful and self-assured and not afraid to be herself. Her confidence in front of the camera was remarkable and I loved seeing her personality and style flourish. She brought her pointe shoes (which I love) and we also celebrated her turning sweet 16 with some fun props to commemorate this milestone. Here is a small peek into some of the fun we had.
