Summer Garden Senior Portraits- Meaghan

Today’s featured Senior is 2020 Tahoma Senior, Meaghan Strey! Meaghan and I have been working together now for 2 amazing years. She is quite the entrepreneur and her first-ever session with me was to build content for her website for her Interior Design business. Now, here she is a Senior at Green River Community College finishing up her high school credits and getting an AA degree both at the same time. She is so motivated and detail-oriented and pushes herself to strive for excellence in everything she does. What an incredible young woman to know!

This past year has been a big change for Meaghan. Once a competitive gymnast, she hurt herself just over a year ago and had to leave gymnastics altogether. But knowing Meaghan’s character, that only made her stronger and she took up weightlifting to help her recovery. Now, 10 months later, she has attended 2 USA Weightlifting Youth National competitions and swept 6 medals- 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze. She is well on her way to being one of the top, youth weightlifters in the country and has gained new goals and passions along the way. Knowing Meaghan and her drive to succeed, I am not at all surprised. She has so much to be proud of and so much ahead of her. What an honor to get to work with her.
