The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is an event that has become a tradition in our home. Every year in April, Jack and I make the 2 hour trip up to Mount Vernon to play in the tulips, take pretty pictures, and carry bunches of them back home. So when the idea to put together a spring Senior Stylized Shoot to kick off my 2017 Model Senior team and celebrate all that my 2016 team has contributed this past year, the tulip fields were the one clear winner.
I adore working with my Seniors. This past year, my 2016 Model Senior Team has enjoyed stylized events up at the lavender fields in Sequim, up at Paradise on Mt. Rainier, around the little town of Georgetown, and up on Crystal Mountain for our Senior Prom Snow Shoot. It has been such a fantastic year and I have loved every minute I have had with them. It is so bittersweet as the end of the year is coming- seeing their acceptance letters into college, hearing all their big plans. I am so excited and proud of them, I truly could not have asked for a better team this past year. Now, already, my 2017 Model Senior team is in place, ready for this next year ahead, and the fun is just starting for them. I have an amazing group of girls this year. 12 girls representing 5 schools and I couldn’t be more excited to work with them. This year is shaping up to be an amazing year of activities, stylized shoots, and lots of fun for these girls. I can’t wait to see all that’s in store!
Senior Rep (or Senior Model) Programs are very common among photographers. I have so enjoyed building out this program to truly reflect my business model and what represents my brand and my passion. Community is so important to me and I love bringing together my community of Seniors with my community of photographers for these stylized sessions. 10 Seniors, 5 photographers, and 5 family members all came out for the event this past weekend and it was a blast. I am so excited to offer stylized sessions for all my seniors this coming year, not just my Model Senior Team. Make sure you stay tuned for all the fun that I have planned this year. It’s going to be amazing!
