This year has been a big year for “firsts” but one thing I didn’t anticipate was that it would be 80 degrees for this year’s fall family mini sessions.
80 degrees! Typically during these sessions, we are all bundled up in coats and sweatshirts, trying to keep warm and dry. But this year the sun was out in abundance and it warmed my soul (literally and figuratively) to see the families without coats, enjoying the beautiful day in casual T-shirts and dresses.
I love these sessions because I get to see families that I have been working with for years. The first time I photographed the Beilke family Jacob and Max were 5 and 7- now they are full-fledged teenagers getting ready to enter high school! In the normal spirit of these sessions, we laughed, we played, and we got some great photos. What a great afternoon with such great families. I look forward to these each year.
Here is a little sneak peek into our heat-wave, family fall minis. Looking forward to the next round of families in a few short weeks as the leaves change and the calendar turns to November! Hopefully, we get dry weather and sunshine too!
