Since the “Doing the Puyallup” is in full swing this month, I thought it was only fitting this week to share photos from Ericka and Troy’s fun wedding at the Washington State Fairgrounds last month. They tied the knot on a sunny August day during our Seattle heat wave this summer. The temperature hit 90 degrees that day and since Seattle doesn’t do air conditioning very well, it was a hot one! But I don’t think Ericka and Troy noticed much. They were so focused on each other that they barely noticed the heat. These two school teachers met one afternoon while preparing their classrooms for school to start. They ran into each other at the butcher block paper station and the rest is history. Such cute lovebirds…
Their wedding was so much fun. Natives to Puyallup, the Washington State Fairgrounds was an easy choice for them. Their day was filled with so much happiness, laughter and emotion, it was such a joy to be a small part in their big day. That’s what makes this job so great- I get to meet and work with couples like Ericka and Troy. I get to know them, spend time with them, and give them memories of the most important day in their lives. Life is truly good. Enjoy looking at their pictures and congratulations to you both. Happy Thursday everyone! This is the last weekend for the fair, so get out there and enjoy it! Our family plans to!
This wedding was second shot by the talented Ashley Harvey of A & B Photography.
