Congratulations 2020 Kentlake Graduate, Chiara Lane!

Cap and Gown Sessions are my absolute favorite sessions to photograph each spring. It is a time that I get to spend with each of my seniors to celebrate all the milestones, challenges, successes and craziness of their senior year. This is the time when they know where they are going, all the big decisions are made, and they just have to cross that final stage and finish out the last month of their high school career. Each one tells a story and I look forward to the time every year.

Chiara has been working with me for 4 years and I have to say, it was a bit emotional to see her in her Cap and Gown. We have been together through her teen years, ballet recitals and even traveling to Palm Springs for our destination session this past fall. It was such an honor to capture her senior year, but at the same time I don’t want our time to end. I adore her sweet and caring personality, her grace, and laughter. I will surely miss it as I watch her take her next steps towards UW in the fall.

Thank you Chiara, Christy, Chris, Noah and Brendan for letting me take part in your family over the last 4 years. I can’t tell you how much it has meant to me. Chiara, you are destined for great things and I can’t wait to sit with you in a year and hear all about your adventures.
