Cap and Gown Sessions in Downtown Tacoma

Cap and Gown season is in full swing and unbelievably graduation is just a few short weeks away. I had the pleasure of meeting up with Cara, Kennedy, Amanda, and Karina in Downtown Tacoma for their Cap and Gown Sessions. Downtown Tacoma is a perfect location for these fun photo sessions with all the variety of backdrops and beautiful light. There is such a different feeling to these sessions compared to their senior portrait sessions. This time is always more relaxed knowing where they are going and what’s ahead of them post-graduation. They have also all been in front of my camera before, so I am a familiar friend at this point and usually, we just spend most of the time chatting and catching up. It’s so fun to share in their hard work, get excited for what’s ahead, and celebrate with them. Here is a small peek into how we celebrated.
