Ballet Senior Photos- Rachel

I’m so excited to introduce 2021 Elite Senior, Rachel! I have had the pleasure of knowing Rachel and her family now for 3 years, but this is the first year that I have actually been able to photograph her! Rachel has been a part of the 2021 Elite Teen Program this past year and it’s been wonderful to watch her confidence and personality grow in front of the camera. We met up at Point Defiance Park last month for her senior photos and do you know what she brought? Her pointe shoes! I love me some ballet time and was so excited to get to photograph ballet senior photos!

Rachel is a principal dancer with EBT. She is so dedicated to her talent and has attended several intensives and 1:1 coaching with some amazing dancers. She is so graceful and thoughtful in her craft and I loved the opportunity to capture all the hard work she has put into it through the years. I asked Rachel if she plans to dance after high school and she wants to go into sports medicine or kinesiology to work with athletes and dancers after graduation. This will give her such a unique perspective coming from her years in ballet and I think she is going to rock it! She has her eyes set on UW after finishing high school.

When Rachel is not in school or at the barre, she enjoys spending time with her friends, handing out at home or playing with her cat!
