2020 Tahoma Graduate, Shelby Devore!

I have a very special 2020 Senior feature today AND a birthday celebration for 2020 Tahoma Graduate, Shelby Devore!⁠

I have to admit, this is a hard blog post to write. Watching Shelby graduate is so bittersweet for me because I have been working with Shelby since she was in 8th grade. That’s right- I have had the pleasure of working with Shelby and her gorgeous family for the past 5 years and it has been an amazing journey to watch her grow up, share her life and be a small part in all of it. I am seriously not ready for my time with her to be over- not to mention how everything ended for all these amazing 2020 graduates. But here ‘s the thing, although I am sad to not have my “Shelby time” at her sessions, I am SO thankful that I have had Shelby, Amy and Doug as part of my business over the last several years. What an incredible experience it’s been to grow in my business with them and their advocacy has meant the world to me. All I can say is “thank you” for allowing me to watch Shelby grow up into the woman she is today. I am so proud of her and can’t wait to photograph her college senior year because I know I will be there.

Shelby- what can I say, seriously. You have been such a light and joy to work with and I couldn’t be happier to watch you grow into such a beautiful and intelligent woman. I know you are bound for amazing things at WOU and can’t wait for holidays and summers when we can sit, have a Dutch Bros and get caught up on all your adventures. ⁠
