Karyn and Chris’ Romantic Backyard Wedding

They met 9 years ago and have been inseparable ever since. It all started with a real estate venture- Karyn crossed Chris’ path for the first time that day and his life was forever changed. “I almost didn’t go meet up with her that day” Chris told me as he was lighting candles waiting for Karyn. “I often think about what I would have missed out on if I hadn’t have gone and I am so thankful that I did!”

These two kept their day simple with a beautiful backyard wedding in their new home that they just purchased. “I want to look out on this backyard in 30 years and tell Chris, do you remember our wedding day?” The ceremony was so intimate and focused on their love for each other and their family. It was simply perfect for them and I loved being a small part of it.

After the ceremony performed by their daughter, Madisyn, the group popped some champagne to celebrate and toast the newlyweds. You could see their happiness radiating through all of them. The girls were so emotional watching their mother get married- it was so heartfelt how happy they were for her. Chris and Karyn enjoyed their first dance in front of a warm fire on the porch of their new home and couldn’t have looked more joyous. Then the group of us headed over to Flaming Geyser State Park for some final pictures. Such a wonderful group of people and I am so thankful and honored that I was able to capture their day.
