San Diego 2019 Elite Senior Destination Shoot

I am so excited to share the images from our San Diego Destination 2019 Elite Senior Shoot! I started planning this shoot back in January of 2018. I had this idea to do something completely different with my 2019 Elite Seniors and after several years of fall shoots getting rained out, I thought: “Hey, why don’t we go somewhere sunny and warm this year!” Well, we sure went big and headed to San Diego last weekend for a gorgeous and sun filled San Diego 2019 Elite Senior Destination Shoot!

It may not seem like it, but shooting in a location where you have never photographed before is a big deal. Not knowing where to go, where to meet, where the light is, it was all a big undertaking, but I have to say, I think it all turned out great. What an opportunity for the girls to get images that no one else up in Seattle has. What an opportunity to travel down and enjoy the gorgeous sunshine and weather. We headed to the iconic Balboa Park for our morning shoot. Balboa park is filled with gorgeous mission-style architecture and beautiful gardens- a perfect place for San Diego style photos. For the sunset shoot, we went to stunning Coronado Island and played on the beach and in the sand. It was a fantastic day and the girls did amazing and had a blast.
