Campbell Family Portrait Session At Point Defiance Park

A few weeks ago, I was blessed to meet up with the Campbell family for their Family Portrait Session. Jen and Dale moved their family from Canada a few years ago and are happily settled in University Place. This wonderful family with their two sons, Nate and Owen—brought so much fun and warmth to their photo session at Point Defiance Park. It was the perfect location to capture some truly special moments of this amazing family on a gorgeous fall day.

Nate and Owen both have a strong love for the water. Nate, who’s a senior this year, is an enthusiastic swimmer and teammate on Jack’s swim team, the University Place Sharks. Owen has a passion for water polo and just wrapped up his first season with the Curtis Vikings. Spending the afternoon with these two was a joy! Their love for swimming and water sports was clear, and hearing about their accomplishments made the session even more special.

Point Defiance Park offered a beautiful backdrop for their photos. The rich fall colors and Tacoma’s unique beauty set the perfect scene for capturing the Campbell family’s personality and joy. For Nate, we took time for senior portraits that celebrated this exciting milestone, while for the whole family, we embraced the park’s natural beauty and captured a mix of playful and classic shots.

It was such a pleasure working with all of them, getting to know their story, and capturing moments they can cherish for years to come. Thank you to the Campbell family for an unforgettable day in one of Tacoma’s most beautiful settings!

Here is a little sneak peek into some of the fun we had during their family portrait session. Enjoy!
